Local events like the San Marco Art Festival highlight the variety and liveliness of the art scene by encouraging artists to open their studios to the public. You can browse and purchase original handmade works including: glass, photography, painting, mixed media, jewelry and much more. Artists are on-hand to share their inspirations for each uniquely-crafted piece.

San Marco has earned a stellar reputation as a destination for some of the finest restaurants in the city, most of which wouldn't break the bank for a superior lunch or dinner.

Shopping, dining, entertainment and all of the necessary services that life requires are a short walk or drive away, and they're all included in the San Marco lifestyle. Within a two block radius, you'll find the historic San Marco movie theatre and the Playhouse theatre for the Performing Arts. The San Marco theatre is unique, nationally-recognized and a welcome break from the multiplex. The theatre is an authentic cinema house, and a combination of movie theatre showing first run films, and bar/restaurant.
